What is a Parent Liaison?

A Parent Liaison is a Morton District 201 staff member, not a volunteer, who works to bridge the communication between school and home by helping parents get the information, help, and support they need to ensure their child's academic and social success in school. A Parent Liaison is to empower parents to become active participants in the education of their children. Confidentiality is always upheld!

Dear Parents of J. Sterling Morton Freshman Center Students,

My name is Vanessa Camacho and I am the Parent Liaison of Morton Freshman Center High School and Morton Alternative School. My purpose at the campus is to ensure that parents and guardians have access to as much information as possible to enhance their student success in high school.

I look forward to communicating with you and it will be my pleasure serving all of you in this upcoming school year.
