Mustangs volunteered for the Annual Town of Cicero Cleanup Week

Last Saturday, May 11th Volunteers gathered for the annual Town of Cicero Cleanup week drive. The volunteers included local businesses, community organizations, the departments of the Town of Cicero and of course students from Morton!

Mustangs celebrated the Solar Eclipse

Our Morton Mustangs celebrated the solar eclipse district-wide on April 8, 2024. Each campus held a "Time to Shine" event fully equipped with telescopes on the rooftop of the school and fun activities.

Morton Freshman Center students travel to Chinatown

Our Freshman Center Chinese 1 students had a blast during their field trip to Chinatown! It was a fantastic day filled with exploration and excitement as they explored all that Chinatown has to offer!

J. Sterling Morton High School District 201 is a school district headquartered in Cicero, Illinois, United States. The district serves the city of Berwyn, the town of Cicero, and the villages of Lyons, Stickney and a small section of McCook. Congratulations Morton West Class of 2024! Our seniors earned awards at their annual award ceremony. They received awards like the Seal of Biliteracy and President's Awards.

2 Morton West students receive first place at the High School Graphic Arts Competition!

Congratulations to Alyssa Orozco, Emma Mika and Mark Albano who competed in the Harper College High School Graphic Arts Competition! 

Morton East culinary arts head to state!

One of our Morton East Culinary Arts students, Arturo Cervantes, qualified for Nationals for FCCLA, earning first place! He and two other Mustangs competed against 13 other students from the State on March 22nd at the College of DuPage. Arturo walked away with the gold, and Nadia Perez and Daniel Mireles earned silver.
